Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

Parcel Area: 600 m²

Building Area: 2000 m²

The program is a little complex due to the activities to be developed inside. The building is organized in 7 levels, including a basement for parking area. The first 3 levels will be used as commercial offices and the remaining 3 levels as a Dental clinic and laboratories. We proposed a compact and solid volume, with simple morphology, and subtile angles, getting the light inside trough the big high technology crystal surfaces that integrates the facades. ‘We get the light but not the heat’’.

Ave. Cristo Redentor
Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

Building Area: 33000 m²

The building is located on one of the most importants avenues in the city. Considering the main idea that the city needs this kind of projects to promote the density of the urban development, we create this compact complex of 213 low cost apartments. The basic volume idea consists in one body composed of two joined towers, to save space due to the small size of the terrain. Since the goal is to create small and cheap apartments in this case, we worked on thin but vertical windows and no balconies around the facades. Vertical over Horizontal, was the "Leitmotiv", looking for slenderness in the architecture of the building, only long vertical wall, aluminum and glass lines compose all the facades .

Av. Cristo Redentor
Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

Building Area: 33000 m²

Apartment building of average cost and density (Olimpo). The name was given by the client who was looking for something classic. Although we opted for something different. We took the name and created a dynamic group of towers, giving, a contemporary new mining for the word Olimpo. The irregularity of the facade (Actually is one tower with four heads), changes the formal aspect, depending on the angle that you look at it. The result is a fun and interesting ( but elegant) house building, even if it looks like some other thing.

Building Area: 10000 m²

The Building is composed by small studio apartments aimed to a young public. The interior seeks the appearance of a small and Young community, like a university residence or a student’s neighborhood. With a central yard, and a linear mirror water fountain, that concentrates the views of the balconies, the atmosphere of this central space becomes warm and intimate, and this is where the social life begins..

CasaCor Santa Cruz - Centro Histótico
Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

An old mansion, Located in the middle of the historical downtown "La Casa Ortiz" practically in ruins is the new scenary for one of the most importants world interior design franchise: CASACOR. The main purpose is to preserve this neoclassic building that is almost 120 years old, working and using its interior and exterior spaces, adapting them to a modern design. In this opportunity, over 70 professionals, among architects, interior and landscape designers, worked to transform this old and beautiful house, but aleays in a respectable way. Our designated space, as we see in the pictures is composed by two huge existing walls of rustic brick, that we decided to maintain and use it as a background for the Gourmet Space. A compact kitchen with grill and ovens that actually works and were used to cook the appetizers and other hot dishes during the exhibit, that last 30 days. Our space was chosen in Brasil by the CASACOR administration , to be the cover of the CASACOR Magazine that year.
