Av. Beni / 2do. anillo
Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

An apartment building, directed to a low cost public. Small but very comfortable spaces, simple and cheap construction were the premises for the design. With a very reduced budget for the construction we decided to create a slim and tall box that is mostly composed by walls and small vertical windows. With that formal solution we reduced building costs but still maintained a simple contemporary composition.

Carretera Interdepartamental
Cotoca - Bolivia

Natural Crops is an industrial processing plant for Chia seeds. The building is composed by a block of offices and a block where the seeds are processed and storage. We gave the building a subtle and smooth aspect to provide the visitors and specially the workers a non-industrial but friendly environment to work in.

Zona Sur / Av. La Barranca
Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

The project integrates two offices in front of the street and a big Party room in the back, all of them are for rent. Simple, functional and basic forms create a space that has to adapt for many uses that will change every week.

ExpoCasa - Hotel y Centro de COnvenciones Los Tajibos
Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

Honorable Mention for the Best Stand

This particular space represents an exposition stand for the Construction and Real Estate Company HOSSEN and its Real State brand LIBERTY. In this small area we created a dynamic and bright environment that shows the projects of the Company (By the way we designed those buildings that are in exposition too) . The space is very clean and smooth, and gets its dynamism by the diagonal lights, bright images and the neutral white, all mixed in a simple but strong composition.

Zona Norte
Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

Parcel Area: 2000 m²

Building Area: 600 m²

The house pursues an identity of a country house with a contemporary touch. The simple material and forms combination harmonizes the purpose that the project wants.

Becerra House

2013

Arch. Eduardo Pérez Velasco

Av. Alemana
Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

The result of the project responds to a modification of an existing old house. We used only the existing structure and changed the entire aspect of the house. With a simple combination of basic materials such as concrete, wood, glass, steel and of course vegetation and light we gave this cozy modern new personality. The juxtaposition of opaque and transparent layers make a game of natural light, shadows, textures and colors.

Memorial Park

2009

Arch. Eduardo Pérez Velasco

Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia

The building hosts the new offices and funeral rooms for The Memorial Park Company, which activity is to administrate and provide funeral services. The building is basically a cut box with a quiet aspect that inspires respect. The levels are connected trough a large and continuous stairs that is part of the facade. The front screen, a mix of glass and aluminum profiles let the light penetrate inside the funeral rooms in a controlled and respectful way due to the quiet ceremonies that are to celebrate in the inside.
